From mates, to smokers, to champions
BBQ BOYZ started the way all good BBQ stories should — cooking good food with good mates. What began as a few mates getting together, firing up the smoker and enjoying a BBQ quickly turned into something we genuinely loved doing. The more we cooked, the more we experimented with different meats, rubs, sauces and low-and-slow techniques — and the food just kept getting better.
Eventually, we thought we’d put our BBQ to the test and started entering BBQ competitions. Turns out, we weren’t too bad at it. We secured a 1st place finish and a 4th place finish. Those results gave us the confidence to take BBQ BOYZ a little further.
We realised there are plenty of people who want proper, good-quality BBQ food but either don’t have the time, equipment or experience to spend hours cooking it themselves. So we decided to do it for them. BBQ BOYZ is about making low-and-slow BBQ and high-protein meals that taste bloody good, without charging ridiculous prices.
Competition quality, made for everyone
We’re not a factory pumping out hundreds of bland chicken-and-rice meals. BBQ BOYZ started around a smoker with a group of mates who genuinely love BBQ. We took that passion into BBQ competitions, picked up a 1st-place finish and a 4th-place finish, and now we’re bringing that same style of cooking to you.
High protein without the boring
Meal prep doesn’t have to mean plain chicken and rice. We’re bringing smoked brisket, pulled pork and BBQ chicken into high-protein meals that you’ll actually look forward to eating.
Proper low & slow
We don’t rush our BBQ. Our meats are smoked low and slow to build the flavour, bark and tenderness that proper BBQ is known for.

We’re just a bunch of mates who love good BBQ, cold beers and the Territory way of life. We’re pretty laid-back. Give us a smoker going, some good meat cooking and a few cold beers around the BBQ with mates and family, and we’re happy.
When we’re not standing around the smoker, we love getting out and about, exploring the Territory, camping, fishing and making the most of the outdoors. That’s really what BBQ BOYZ is all about. Good mates, good food and good times.
We’re not trying to make things fancy or complicated. We just love cooking bloody good BBQ, having a laugh while we’re doing it and sharing it with other people.
